The COPA MARESME has over 30 years of history and is played in the Catalonia region of Spain, along the Costa de Barcelona-Maresme coastline. With the tournament close to the Mediterranean Sea, there is plenty to excite the attendees, both on and away from the pitch. The COPA MARESME is regularly combined with a holiday and is generally guaranteed nice weather!

2023 Age Groups:
Boys: U11, U13, U15 and U19 - Girls: U11, U13, U15 and U19

Previous participating nations:
Albania, Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, England, France, Germany, Guadeloupe, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Mexico, Oman, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland and Wales.

Facilities:
All games are played on artificial turf pitches in local stadiums: Malgrat de Mar, Pineda de Mar, Arenys de Munt, Sant Vicenç de Montalt, S. Susanna, S. Pol and Mataró. All stadiums are equipped with changing, toilet and washing facilities.

Matches:
The tournament consists of a group phase and seeded knockout rounds, progressing to finals. Matches are 2 x 15 minute up to and including U13, and 2 x 20 minute over U13.

Age Groups: U11 = 7v7 - U13 = 8v8 - U15 + = 11v11
