Hosting thousands of players from all over the world, we believe The Edinburgh Cup is Scotland’s biggest and best youth football tournament. Held in the capital city, it will take place at Peffermill Playing Fields, some of Scotland’s best pitches just ten minutes from the city centre. It has some of Scotland’s best grass and synthetic pitches positioned 10 minutes from the heart of the city centre.
This unforgettable trip is made even more special as it coincides with the Edinburgh Festival, one of the largest of its kind in the world! Played over a weekend, you’re guaranteed to have plenty of football with loads to keep your team busy in the downtime in a tournament with a carnival feel to it! We base you inside Edinburgh for the duration of your stay which gives you both great access to the football and the Edinburgh Festival!

Any player waiting for their team to kick off will be able to spend time enjoying some exciting inflatable rides or gaming tents at the festival, scattered throughout the location.

The people of Edinburgh are used to looking after their visitors and during the month of August, the city is transformed into a global meeting place with a colourful and carnival like atmosphere.
In Edinburgh the world’s largest arts festival transforms Scotland’s capital every August, as thousands of performers take to hundreds of stages all over the city to present shows of all kinds and for every taste. Audiences can enjoy theatre, comedy, dance, circus, cabaret, children’s shows, musicals, opera, exhibitions and events making it the biggest and most dynamic international arts festival the world.

This great tournament has a rich history of attracting teams from all over Europe to the event which sees a collaboration of FC Ommen and Komm Mit.
Facilities:
Participants and fans can expect a ‘Carnival’ feel to the festival venue, which will take place at Peffermill Playing Fields, Edinburgh.
A fantastic venue with 9x brand new 5-a-side pitches, 13x 7-a-side high quality grass pitches, 3x 9-a-side pitches (2x UEFA standard synthetic pitch and 6x high quality grass pitches), 14 changing rooms and bar (over 18’s only).
Matches:
The tournament consists of a group phase followed by seeded knockout fixtures across the two playing days.

You can expect three nights, 3-star hotel accommodation close to the city centre with breakfast and vouchers for evening meals, however you may equally like to opt to explore the city for the best food!
Travel:
NSX supply a coach from your centralised location to and from the tournament, inclusive all tournament transfers. A range of great and varied excursions are available, and your coach will provide any necessary transport you require.
